In the film, a devastating war between humans and aliens leaves Earth a nuclear wasteland. But more than 200 years later, a trio of intergalactic thieves has returned in search of treasure.
As Kaynin, Rune and Archer descend into an underground city in search of artifacts, they soon find themselves trapped ... fighting for their lives against a sinister figure lurking in the shadows. Hidden amongst the rubble and debris lie clues to the planet's final days and -- in a desperate bid to survive -- they must unravel their cryptic meaning before time runs out.
But where does fiction end ... and reality begin?
In the far distant future, a group of interplanetary explorers arrive on planet Earth, and make a discovery that challenges everything they ever learned about the downfall of mankind. It all started on October 30, 2009. A group of young filmmakers vanished without a trace after producing a documentary about the end of life on Earth. Flash forward to September, 2012: As the investigation into the filmmakers' disappearance continues, a CEA (Central Extraterrestrial Agency) agent watches a copy of the film just three months before the date that will alter the course of human history.
I thought this was a very interesting film!
